Presenters: Jamie Guinn, Hans Rottmann, Shawna Pepper

Energy Solutions

Jamie Guinn Sr. Manager Advisory Services, CEP, CDSM.  An experienced energy professional with over 12 years experience in the industry. Jamie has worked in all sides of the business - gas, power, operations, complex product strategy, sales and management. She currently runs our Origination team to facilitate Direct Energy’s Total Energy Management Solutions.   Jamie graduated from W&J college with a degree in Economics and currently resides in Pittsburgh with her husband and two boys.

 

Hans Rottmann Technical Sales Manager, CEM, CEP.  Hans has 24 years of experience in the energy industry spanning both the wholesale and retail markets and has been with Direct Energy Business (DEB) since 2000.  Hans’ role is to support DEB’s complex energy solutions including both commodity and demand side offerings.  Hans also has extensive experience working with large energy customers to develop and implement strategies in the wholesale and retail electricity and natural gas markets.  Hans has a Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting and an MBA - both from the State University of New York at Buffalo.  Hans resides in Pittsburgh with his wife and 4 sons and is also a competitive marathon runner. 

 

Business Development

Shawna Pepper – a Western PA native, and graduate of Allegheny College with a degree in Managerial Economics, Shawna spent her time in banking and tech start-ups before joining Direct Energy in 2010.  After spending 4 years on the operational side, Shawna now works directly with large commercial and industrial customers to find cost savings in their energy spend and solutions to improve efficiency in energy consuming operations.
